The heading reads: "NOTICE TO PARTIES ASSESSED, Municipal Drainage Act, R.S.O. 1927, chap. 241, sec.16."
The form, completed in black ink, reads: "Municipality of Goulbourn, You are hereby notified that the Engineer appointed for the purpose did on the Eleventh day of February 1929 file at my office his report respecting the construction of the Geo and Dawson Award Ditch and its maintenance. The estimated cost of said drainage work is $100.00. The assessment against your lands mentioned in the report is $10.75...The Council of the said Municipality will meet at their Town Hall on the 15th day of March 1929 when the said report will be read and considered.
