The brick Methodist Church at Ashton.Context
In 1899, land was purchased on the main village street of Ashton, on the ninth concession, on the Beckwith side of the town line. Here the brick church was erected that is still in present use. This replaces the former wood frame building. The new brick church was built under Rev. H. W. Burnett of the Ashton Circuit. - The Story of the Churches', File 008Collection
