Description

A matching pair of wood and metal eating forks. The metal is a slightly lustrous silver grey. The wood is brown with black soiling near the bases of both forks. The forks feature a three pronged head and a rounded metallic shaft which widens slightly before narrowing down. A tear dropped shaped wooden handle is affixed to the base of the metallic sections where they begin to narrow.

Context

These objects are significant as they represent the everyday material culture used by the inhabitants of the Ottawa area.
