Description
School Section No. 9 (S.S. #9) and School Section No. 16 (S.S.#16) a union school.
Students photographed holding a Union School Banner c. 1937. At a central location on Lot 3 Concession 12 of Goulbourn on the 1863 map is a school house - Union #9 Huntley and #16 Goulbourn. Children attended from Beckwith, Ramsay, Huntley and Goulbourn townships. Closed in 1938 The first log structure was replaced by a frame building in 1898.
