Description
Artefact is a folded paper quitclaim deed between William Featherston and Mary Ann Featherston. The front text reads "Dated Ferb 22nd 1905 Wm [abbreviated William] Featherstone et al [meaning and others] to Mary Ann Featherston Quit Claim Deed Sold by Joseph Doust, Law Stationer, 58 Adelaide Street East, Toronto". The reverse reads, "I certify that the within instrument is duly entered and registered in the registry office for the county of Carleton in Book 15 for the Municipality of Goulbourn at 1 o'clock and 45 minutes P.M. of the 25 day of February A.D. 1905 No 5326 P.J. Coffey, Registrar C.C."
