Original structure was built in the early 1800s by Abijah Jones. Ebenezer Wood bought it in 1828, then deeded to his son, Samuel G. Wood in 1861. Samuel added a third floor and operated the "Wayside Inn" until he sold it in 1915 to Frank Crowhurst. Frank operated the Inn until it was consumed by fire in 1936. Frank P. Noyes purchased the property after the fire. Chandler Noyes, son of Frank, built a house on the property in 1956.Update Date
