Re-introduced to Congress on July 25, 2023 by Grace Napolitano and Alex Padilla (D-CA), the Mental Health for Latinos Act would require the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) to develop and implement an outreach and education strategy to promote behavioral and mental health among Latino and Hispanic populations.
