Operation Ivory Soap - Abandon Ship drill, down the scrambling nets 1944
Description
The end of the fishing pier of the Grand Hotel was converted into a vertical wall for the Army Air Corps "seamanship trainees" to practice abandon ship maneuvers. The wall was 40 feet tall.
