"Greetings from Point Clear, ALA" post card from 1949. The lagoon was created along with the "new" Grand Hotel in the early 1940's to add to the ambiance of the hotel's property. Many trees surrounded this lovely water feature, complimented with brick pathways for taking a stroll and enjoying the view. Postage was one cent!
