Carolyn Pitts, as a student spent time in Cape May documenting what she considered a very unique city. Her work was the basis of what we know of Cape May today. Miss Pitts as she was known recruited students during the summer season, to help her with her work. There were obstacles to her work as few in the city were interested in preservation.Collection
