Both series are believed to be connected to families from the area of Mount Morris, Perry Township, Greene County, Pennsylvania. Item # KENN0003 has no caption, but includes a photographer stamp from Owen, Dansville, N. Y. Item # SMIT-AN001-0026 has a caption which reads, "Guthrie girl near Mt. Morris." There is no photographer stamp on this image.

The Friends and Neighbors Series features photographs that do not appear to be known family members of Carrie Belle (Stewart) Smith. These images most likely connect to families from the area of Mount Morris, Perry Township, Greene County, Pennsylvania. The Carrie Belle (Stewart) Smith Collection was passed from Lida (Wise) Stewart [1877-1966] to her daughter Carrie Belle (Stewart) Smith [1916-1999] who added to the collection.
