Real-photo postcard of [Left-Right]: Clarence Sprowls and James Hobart Swart. Both men were members of Company K, 110th Infantry, 28th Division during World War I. James Hobart Swart was killed in action 28 September 1918 Varennes-en-Argonne, Lorraine, France. He was a son of James Henry Swart and Nancy Virginia Scott. Handwritten caption reads, "Clarence Sprowls, Hobart Swart." Original, no photographer listed.
