Carte-de-visite of [Left-Right]: Sarah Cathers (Inghram) Lindsey [1832-1921], Unidentified, Unidentified. Handwritten inscription reads, "S. C. Lindsey." A 2 cent tax stamp is located on the back of the photograph indicating that the photo dates to the Civil War era, probably between 1 August 1864 and 1 March 1865 during the time when a tax stamp higher than 1 cent was used. Original, professional photograph from F. Forshew, Photographer, Hudson, N.Y.

Inghram-Lindsey Album 01 is one of a series of photograph albums donated by Mary Inghram (Munnell) Rinehart [1898-1986] - daughter of Robert Wallace Munnell [1861-1945] and Anna Laura Lindsey [1862-1942], and granddaughter of James Lindsey [1827-1864] and Sarah Cathers Inghram [1832-1921]. Personal inscriptions on several photographs in the Inghram-Lindsey Album 01 indicate that it once belonged to Sarah Cathers (Inghram) Lindsey [1832-1921] - wife of James Lindsey [1827-1864], daughter of Dr. Arthur Inghram and Elizabeth Cathers. Archived at the Greene County Historical Society (918 Rolling Meadows Road, P.O. Box 127; Waynesburg, Pennsylvania 15370).
