J. H. Ganiear & Son was a furniture and undertaking business located on East High Street in Waynesburg, Greene County, Pennsylvania. The proprietors were John Hayes Ganiear [1847-1925] and his son, Charles Hedge Ganiear [1871-1908]. After Charles's death in 1908, John Hayes Ganiear sold the business to the Huffman family who may be viewed with the building in item # GCHS-AN027-0001-0022. Caption reads, "J. H. Garnier [sic] & Son, E. High St. The Oldest Furniture Store in Waynesburg." Fred High, Waynesburg Prosperous & Beautiful (Hamilton, Ohio: Brown & Whitaker, 1906), 112.
