Description

Log cabin built by George Graham (a/k/a Grimes) [1756-1840], where he raised his family in Greene County, Pennsylvania. It originally stood on the north side of Grimes Run Road in Franklin Township, just west of I-79, which appears to be the location in this photograph. It was subsequently moved to the Mary Rinehart property on Route 19, about a quarter mile south of the present-day Waynesburg Animal Hospital, up a cove on the east side of the highway. Identification provided by Terry Grimes, 2023. Original, no photographer listed.
