Pictured [Left-Right]: ON SHOULDERS: Robert Lawrence Throckmorton Sr. [1889-1964]; SEATED: Unidentified, Unidentified. The postcard message reads: "Hello Bob, suppose you got home all right. How did you make it in Columbus. They didn't take you for strike breakers did they? That picture taken up at Jim's was no good. Everybody looked [hard to read] not fit to print from. Heavy frost last night. We are in our usual health. C. S. H." Original, no photographer listed.

The Throckmorton Series was passed from Robert Lawrence Throckmorton Sr. [1889-1964] and his wife, Ella May (Watson) Throckmorton [1893-1988], to their daughter, Katherine Jane (Throckmorton) Toothman [1919-2012], to her son, Glenn Jacob Roy Thornton Toothman III, who owned and shared the items with the Greene Connections: Greene County, Pennsylvania Archives Project between 2016 and 2025.
