Description

Joseph C. Russo [1900-1990] with his dog, Scrappy, standing in front of his business, Joe's Dairy Bar, on Washington Street, in Waynesburg, Greene County, Pennsylvania. Joe's Dairy Bar was opened by Joseph C. Russo in 1946, and sold in 1948, to Joseph F. Komats [1909-1990]. In 1960, a fire destroyed the frame building housing the business as well as the one beside it.
