The Swan Series photographs were passed from Alford Gregg Swan [1827-1903] and his wife, Elma Phillips [1837-1923], to their daughter, Ruth Ann Swan [1880-1951] and her husband, Raymond Samuel Brosius [1880-1966], to their daughter, Margaret Lucile Brosius [1907-1999] and her husband, Garvin Roseborough Wylie [1896-1981], to their daughter, Suzanne Wylie who owned and shared the photographs with the Greene Connections: Greene County, Pennsylvania Archives Project in 2009.
