Carte-de-Visite photograph of Abigail (McGinnis) (Grable) Moore [1809-1880] and her youngest daughter, Abigail (Grable) Hedge [1850-1940]. Handwritten inscription on album page reads: "Aunt Abby More and youngest daughter." There is a 2 cent tax stamp on the back side indicating that the CDV dates to the Civil War, probably between 1 August 1864 and 1 March 1865 during the time when a tax stamp higher than 1 cent was used. Original, professional photograph from J. S. Young, Washington, Pa.
