Description

Dated 1918. Normal school (educational institute for training teachers) held at the Rogersville High School in Rogersville, Center Township, Greene County, Pennsylvania. A handwritten inscription attached to the image identifies 60 of the 61 individuals pictured across 6 rows. Unfortunately, the rows are difficult to follow because students are clustered in several spots. Additionally, exactly where the 1 missing identity belongs is unknown. We have added numbers to the photograph and are assigning them as we distinguish identities based on photo comparisons, family input, and additional research. In the meantime, we have maintained the order of the rows provided in the handwritten inscription.
