Dated 1911. Estella Wallace (Huggins) Schaum [1892-1919] and Arthur Hoge King [1891-1969], both members of Waynesburg College, Class of 1913, standing at the corner of College and Washington Streets in Waynesburg, Greene County, Pennsylvania. Behind them is Union School (built 1864, later known as North Ward Elementary School). Handwritten inscription on scrapbook page reads, "Hug & King, 1911." Original, candid.

Scrapbook of Waynesburg College memories, 1910-1912, assembled by Paul Waddell Knox [1891-1965], Class of 1913. The album includes 83 images of classmates, friends, sports teams, social groups, and members of Company K, 10th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, National Guard. Paul was the son of a Waynesburg College couple, Isaac Havely Knox (Class of 1889) and Theodosia Burr (Waddell) Knox (Class of 1884), who also appear in their son’s album. The album was acquired via online auction by Candice Buchanan, 2023.
