"France, May 26-1918
Dear Sister. I will write you a few lines to let you know that we are both well and getting along good. I hope that you girls are enjoying life at the best. I think it is real nice that all four of you are together and by boarding yourselves, you can live lots cheaper as you can get nearly everything that you want from the farm. I would like to write to all of you but as you are all together this one letter will do for all of you. Be sure to tell me how you like the school and how Margaret and Lillian like their job. Hope they are getting along fine.
Do you go out home very often. when you do go out tell the folks that Leo and I are both ok and that we said hello. Well I will have to close
with love to all and a xxxx for each,
Your brother Edie,
be sure to write this address on my letters. Just the same as it is here.
