The Betty Elaine (Adams) Kleffner Collection photographs were passed in large part from Elijah Adams [1816-1877] and his wife, Harriet Buchanan [1822-1890], to their son Richard Miskimins Adams [1864-1942] and his first wife, Eleanor Orissa "Nellie" Dwigans [1865-1907], to their son Vern "Bill" Adams [1898-1998] and his wife, Opal LaVerne Hale [1905-1946], to their daughter Betty Elaine (Adams) Kleffner [1925-2003] and her husband, Leo Henry Kleffner [1914-1996], to their son John Kleffner who owned and shared the photos with the Greene Connections: Greene County, Pennsylvania Archives Project in 2004. Betty also received and shared images passed from her first cousin Lorraine Ermie (Adams) Wenner, daughter of Ralph Adams & Naida Avis White.
