Vance-McFarland Album 02, Photo 01 - Maggie Brewer

Name/Title

Vance-McFarland Album 02, Photo 01 - Maggie Brewer

Entry/Object ID

2023.12.75

Description

Cabinet card identified as "Maggie Brewer." She may be Margaret Ann (Headlee) Brewer [1874-1940], who married Abram Sterling Brewer on 22 May 1901. However, this image and the group photo in which this woman also appeared (see item # MILB-AN001-0006-0007) both pre-date her marriage. The caption may have been added later and reflect her married name, but more research is necessary. Original, professional photograph from Williams, Artist, Greensboro, Pa.
