Scope and Content

James Boyd Family Bible, Holy Bible, Containing the Old and New Testaments, Translated Out of the Original Tongues, and with the Former Translations Diligently Compared and Revised; with the Apocrypha, Concordance, and Psalms, Holman's Edition (Philadelphia: A. J. Holman & Co., 1875). The Boyd Family Bible has been passed through the direct family line from James Boyd [1851-1937] and his wife, Amanda (Arnold) Boyd [1856-1933], to their daughter, Daisy (Arnold) Boyd [1888-1988], to her only son, James Albert Garrettson Sr. [1911-2000], to his only son, James Albert Garrettson Jr., who owned and shared the Bible with the Greene Connections: Greene County Pennsylvania Archives Project in 2007.
