Description

The Rain Day Boys shares a true account of the soldiers of Company K, 110th Infantry, 28th Division, American Expeditionary Forces, 1917-1918, as they left from their Armory in Waynesburg, Greene County, Pennsylvania, headed for a battle in France that would be their destiny with eternity. July 29th is a local holiday in the southwestern Pennsylvania town of Waynesburg, known as Rain Day, celebrating the consistent fall of rain on this day over the years since 1874. It was on July 29, 1918, when more than rain fell, which would greatly affect this community.
