Sons of Ephraim Morris and Martha Roseberry, of Center Township, Greene County, Pennsylvania, pictured: LEFT - Captain John Morris (1832-1922); CENTER - Mathias Lot Morris (1834-1913); RIGHT - James Franklin Morris, Esq. (1840-1928). Originally there were five sons. Oldest son, Lt. Colonel Thomas Morris (1822-1864), was killed at Snicker’s Ferry, Virginia, July, 1864, in the Battle of Cool Springs (Civil War).
