Description

Real-photo postcard of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church on High Street in Waynesburg, Greene County, Pennsylvania. The church was built in 1868, when it replaced the original "Church on the Hill" that had been near Wayne Street in the Monument Park area. In 1906, the Cumberland Presbyterian and Presbyterian congregations of Waynesburg merged to form the First Presbyterian Church. The CP Church on High Street was torn down in 1941.
