Tintype photograph.
Researcher Jan Slater has pointed out a family resemblance between the unidentified subject in this image and her ancestor Archibald Perry Adams. In the 1880 Census of Jackson Township, Greene County, Pennsylvania, the Adams family are near neighbors to the Jonas Milliken family. William A. Adams, a first cousun of Archibald Perry Adams, is actually living in the Milliken household as a laborer. Further research is required to determine if these Millikens relate to the family known to be featured in this album and/or to determine if this might be a picture of an Adams relative.Collection
