Tintype photograph of Collin W. Minor - son of Lawrence Lewis Minor & Maria Chambers Hays. The tintype is in a Union Case made by A. P. Critchlow & Co., Maunfacturers of Daguerreotype Cases, Hinge patented 14 October 1856. Original, no photographer listed. Identity researched by Linda Cunningham Fluharty who discovered the name "Calvin Miner" on a piece of paper encased with the photograph and proceeded to show that Collin Minor's Civil War service record at the National Archives interchanges his given name as both Collin and Calvin.
