The Billie Rae Buchanan Collection was passed from John Buchanan [1867-1929] and his wife, Lydia Cidora Cage [1869-1947], to their son Walton Swart Buchanan [1892-1939] and his wife, Margaret Ellen Raipe [1894-1966], to their son William Hannan Buchanan [1923-1998] and his wife, Mollie Irene Sampson, to their daughter Billie Rae Buchanan who owned and shared the collection with the Greene Connections: Greene County, Pennsylvania Archives Project in 2003.
