Old Methodist Episcopal Church Cemetery (also known as Hookstown or East Waynesburg Cemetery), Waynesburg, Greene County, Pennsylvania. The cemetery was abandoned in the early 1960s; the site is now occupied by a housing project. A memorial to those known to have been buried in this cemetery stands in Section P, Lot 99 of Green Mount Cemetery, Waynesburg, Pa. However, no bodies were actually removed to Green Mount; the lot is empty except for the monument. For more information about the closure of the cemetery see Exhibit A, Petition to Greene County Court of Quarter Sessions, 7 March 1961, Clerk of Court's Office, Courthouse, Waynesburg, Pennsylvania.
