William Thompson Hays Pauley - husband of Mary Jane Jennings, son of Thomas Pauley and Sarah Hays. Handwritten inscription on album page reads, "W. T. H. Pauley." This Cabinet Card from Rogers, Wilson Building, Waynesburgh, Pa., is actually a reproduction of an 1840s-era photograph. W. T. H. Pauley was born in 1820 and is pictured here as a young man fashioned in 1840s hair style and clothing.

Notes

The Pauley-Thompson Album once belonged to the family of John Flenniken Pauley [1858-1929] and his wife, Margaret Virginia Thompson [1855-1937]. The album was found in a building set for demolition and was donated to the Cornerstone Genealogical Society (144 E. Greene St., PO Box 547; Waynesburg, Pennsylvania 15370). Shared with the Greene Connections: Greene County, Pennsylvania Archives Project in 2007.
