Notes

Geho Album 01 originally belonged to Zibiah (Garrison) Geho [1807-1898] - wife of Adam Geho, daughter of Benjamin Garrison. The album includes pictures of Zibiah's children and grandchildren, as well as the family of her sister, Sophia (Garrison) Campbell. Nearly all images are identified and have been maintained in original order. Most album captions were provided by George Lindsey Cole [1897-1987], grandson of George Cole [1844-1908] and Elizabeth (Geho) Cole [1848-1920], great-grandson of Adam Geho [1804-1871] and Zibiah (Garrison) Geho [1807-1898]. George Lindsey Cole [1897-1987] passed the album to his friend Kay Hibbs, who gave it to local historian Matt W. Cumberledge. Matt owned and shared the album with the Greene Connections: Greene County, Pennsylvania Archives Project in 2025. SOURCE CITATION: Geho Album 01, Photo 16; circa 1865-1875, image by J. B.
