Dated 7 September 1917. Taken as crowds bid farewell to the soldiers of Company K, 110th Infantry, 28th Division, who marched that day from the Armory to the Waynesburg & Washington Railroad Station in Waynesburg, Greene County, Pennsylvania, to depart for training at Camp Hancock, Georgia. The men were ultimately bound for the battlefields of World War I in France. Original, no photographer listed. Donated by: Jane Ann Thompson.
