Greenwich Historical Society preserves and interprets Greenwich history to strengthen the community’s connection to our past, to each other and to our future. The circa 1730 National Historic Landmark Bush-Holley House was built as the home for a prosperous Colonial merchant family and later was the site of the trailblazing Cos Cob American Impressionist art colony. Bush-Holley House is part of the campus of the Greenwich Historical Society, which has a nationally accredited museum, museum store, cafe, library and archives. Greenwich Historical Society presents dynamic year-round programs and events connected to art, history, architecture, and landscapes and offers educational programming for thousands of school children and visitors.
