Photograph of the interior of a Victorian-era home, possibly on East Street in Grinnell. On the lefthand side of the photograph, there is an ornate fireplace surrounded by tile and boasting a decorated, mirrored over-mantle, which has been prepared for summer use with a fabric screen insert. In the center of the photo, there is a small table with an electric lamp, connected via a cord from the fixture in the ceiling. On the far right through a curtained entry is a sitting area with three rocking chairs, a music cabinet, and some other small furniture pieces. The rooms are decorated with wallpaper, rugs, artwork, and plants.
