Photograph of Nelson & Sons Sample Day in Grinnell, Iowa. There are seven horse-drawn carts in a line in front of the store with their drivers ready to go, and a man, likely James Buswell, stands behind them in a dark suit with a hat and cane. A number of storefronts are visible along the street including a painted sign of a building for a "Millinery" with "Fancy Goods," and farther down, there are signs for a garage and a restaurant. A street lamp is visible on the far right of the image and another street corner near the signs. On the back, the words "Co-operative Delivery System and James Buswell Manager" are written.
