Description

A supplemental Abstract of Title backed in red. This abstract was prepared by the Hale Abstract Co. for property at 114 S. Harrison St. / Presbyterian Church Square Lot 2 in Shelbyville, IN. The abstract details the purchase of the property by Sam and Nathan Kaufman from the estate of Frank Flaitz in summer 1925 (see: 2010.032.001) and proof of Nathan's sole ownership following his father's death in 1928. The property was purchased by Robert E. and Betsy R. Hayes in April 1964. It also details a series of Special Searches conducted from April 24, 1964, to July 12, 1971. The abstract covered numbers 1-13.
