Accordian is box -shaped w/wooden outer edges; expandable part framed in metal covered w/blue flowered paper bound by purple cloth; 8 metal brackets hold cloth to wooden box; 8 metal tension bars fasten to metal lyre-shaped brackets; front has 8 ivory button; one side has 21 stops made of ivory, wood and metal; opposite side has 2 circles of holes which allow cloth to show, this side has 1 ivory button; 1" leather strap runs top to bottom on this side; tow 5 1/4" leather strips hold box shut; leather loop attached to back of keyboard on other side printed in 2 places on the front "WEIDLICH'S ITALIAN/Latest Surprise of the Trade/MADE IN GERMANY"; leather straps stamped "WEIDLICH'S ITALIAN".Collection
