The narrative relates an incident where Marha Coer's mother helped her mother (Marha Coer's grandmother) by pick-up and delivery of sewing. The young Ethel, Marha Coer's mother, made a delivery to the home of Mrs. Charles Major. Mrs. Major took issue with the price and the author insisted that his wife apologize.
