Small anvil; flat base 3-3/4" x 5-5/8"; center column is approx 2" high x 5-1/4" long x 5/8" thick; top of anvil has horn at front, work surface in middle and behind work surface are 2 holes; square hole probably for hardies, unsure about round hole.
"ISI" is stamped in 4 places on body of anvil.
Used by Ira Isley 1856-1930.
Ira Isley was a blacksmith in Mt. Auburn late 19th early 30th century; he made this anvil frompiece of railroad "T" track.Collection
