Description

Artillery shell from WWII made into a table lamp. Pattern of roses and leaves on brass shell casing. Silver "bullet" top has three curved arms extending outward and each arm has a lightbulb socket. Silver, twist light switch on body of lamp. base is black wood. Brown electrical cord coming out of base. On hang tag by John Kemper: "Shell art made by Weldon P. Kemper (1914-92) in South Pacific WWII. Design made by laying shell on a bag of sand and hammering. Ship's machine shop helped."
