A cast iron, black, flattened "U" shape bell holder. There are three holes in the bottom to accomodate bolts for securing the holder to a post. The upper points of the "U" are flared to accept horizontal shaft supporting the bell.
One side marked "No 2 Upright 1886" other side marked "CRYSTAL METAL 2" there is a small "s" directly under the a and 1 in CRYSTALCollection
