Coverlet, blue and white. Appears to be 2 strips sewn together. Main motif is 4 vertical rows of stars. There are 5 stars to a row, each star has a floral center, surrounded by a floral wreath. Top border is plain. 2 side borders consist of 2 rows of stars then row of 'pineapples' alternating with classical style urns. Bottom border is alternating blocks of grapes and other fauna. Bottom edge is fringed and just above fringe is woven: Shelby Co 1851
