Vietnam Era jungle boots, sole are expecially designed to resist pungi sticks (Pungi sticks are sliver of bamboo cut at sharp angle and tipped with poison, planted on jungle trails and could penetrate normal shoes.) Sole pattern made to resemble the sandals that Viet Cong made from old tires. Diversionary tactic to hide our troop movements.Collection
