clear glass bottle; round shape; made in mold as two seam lines are visible; bottom has a "14" embossed on it; bottle is 5-1/4" high to where shoulders begin to round up to form a neck 1" high x 1-1/4" diameter; has glass stopper with ground edges; white paper label identifies original contents as one pound of Acid Nitric Fuming a poison for technical use only; label printed in red bottom paper label identifies ad "MALLINCKRODT CHEMICAL WORKS/SAINT LOUIS MONTREAL PHILADELPHIA, NEW YORK" Barnett's found item at a flea market and purchased as a donation thinking bottle would be useful in Street scene exhibit. Since stopper is removable have numbered bottle 1984.036.004A and stopper 1984.036.004B
