Brown glass bottle; mold made as 2 vertical seam lines are visible; bottle is about 4-3/8" high from bottom to shoulder where slopes in to form a neck 1-1/4" high x 1-3/4" diameter; has cork stopper and original contents; paper label around neck is printed "MERCK SEAL/adopted/Dec. 1916" Main label identifies product as Potassium Hypophosphite Merck. paper label on jar identifies Merck & Co. New York; bottom of bottle is embossed "300" Barnett's found item at a flea market and purchased as a donation thinking bottle would be useful in Street Scene exhibit
