Amber colored bottle with cork type stopper; round shape from bottom for approx. 6" where it starts to slope in at shoulder; neck of bottle is approx. 1 1/4" high, about 1" diameter and neck has a 1/4" thick lip that is 1 3/8" across; has visible vertical line on 2 sides where mold parts fit during manufacturing; has glued on paper label that identifies has "1 lb/ OIL TURPENTINE MERCK"; bottom of bottle is embossed "675" over a "3"; there is still liquid in the bottle
Paper label has in fine print "Merck & Co, Inc Manufacturing/ Chemists New York"
