Brass box with a chromed exterior; has a hinged lid with a lip so extends over and covers sides of box; top of lid has a pull ring for lifting box out of compartment and opening; lid is secured by a latch fastened to front of box and latch has 90 degree bend at top so it catches on a slight raise in the lid.
Bottom of box is stamed with a "C" or a horseshoe shape mark.
